Kevin J. Bahr was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1989. He represents corporations and individuals in complex contract, employment, business law, insurance coverage, personal injury, and commercial disputes in state and federal courts and arbitration proceedings. Mr. Bahr has tried cases in the state and federal system, and has handled appeals in numerous state and federal appellate courts. Mr. Bahr is experienced in arbitration and mediation, and utilizes creative strategies and methods for resolving disputes.
Mr. Bahr’s practice specializes in business litigation, franchisor/franchisee disputes, insurance coverage analysis/litigation, personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death, construction law, and corporate formation. Mr. Bahr serves as outside general counsel to numerous companies, large and small.
Mr. Bahr is admitted to practice in all Georgia trial courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Lawyers Club.
Mr. Bahr graduated from Davidson College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1986, and received his law degree from the University of Georgia in 1989. Following law school, he practiced for twelve years, first as an associate and then as partner, with the Atlanta law firm of Freeman & Hawkins, now known as Hawkins & Parnell.
